Candidate announces plans to run in upcoming primary election

Macon, GA - May 18, 2023 - John Smith has officially filed to run for the Republican nomination in Georgia's District 48 House race. Smith, a lifelong resident of the district, is a small business owner and community leader.

Smith is running on a platform of conservative values, including support for the Second Amendment, tax cuts, and school choice. He is also a strong advocate for economic development and job creation in District 48.

"I am running for office because I believe that we need a strong conservative voice in the Georgia House of Representatives," Smith said.
