## IU Football WR Donaven McCulley Expected to Return vs UCLA **Wide receiver Donaven McCulley is expected to return to the field for Indiana University's football game against UCLA on Saturday.** The 6-foot-3, 215-pound redshirt junior has been out since the season opener with a foot injury. "He's been practicing all week and he's looked good," IU coach Tom Allen said. "We're excited to get him back." McCulley is one of IU's most experienced wide receivers. He has 58 catches for 822 yards and seven touchdowns in his career. He was named honorable mention All-Big Ten in 2020. McCulley's return is a boost for an IU offense that has struggled to find consistency this season. The Hoosiers are averaging just 17.5 points per game, which is 11th in the Big Ten. "He's a big target and he's a good route runner," Allen said. "He's also a good blocker. He's going to help us in a lot of ways." McCulley's return will also help IU's defense because he is a good special teams player. He was named IU's Special Teams Player of the Year in 2020. "He's a tough kid and he's a hard worker," Allen said. "We're glad to have him back."
